Salary Range:                     Based on a fixed rate that is agreed upon by the Commission and the Attorney.

Filing Deadline:                   March 15, 2023 (Candidates reviewed on a rolling basis)

 Consult and advise the Commission on legal matters and represent the Commission in all legal matters as requested including presentation of cases in administrative hearings and the trial court, as appropriate.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1.         Graduate of accredited Law School, practicing member of the Kentucky Bar.  Three (3) years of professional experience preferred. 

2.         Familiarity with practice before administrative agencies and appellate bodies.  Experience in administrative practice; and familiarity with labor law, fair employment law, fair housing and other related civil rights laws preferred.  

An LFUC-HRC application with required documents to verify education, training or certification/licenses must be submitted by the deadline date. Must be able to show proof of liability insurance in the amount of $100,000 per occurrence.  Applicants must be able to perform all essential job functions as identified in the job posting.
