The American Association for Affirmative Action: The American Association for Affirmative Action is the association of professionals managing affirmative action, equal opportunity, diversity and other human resource programs. Founded in 1974, the American Association for Affirmative Action (AAAA) is dedicated to the advancement of affirmative action, equal opportunity and the elimination of discrimination on the basis of race, gender, ethnic background or any other criterion that deprives people of opportunities to live and work. The organization's dedication is realized in its many activities designed to help Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action (EEO/AA) professionals be more successful and productive in their careers.

Department of Justice Civil Rights Division - Coordination and Review Section: Has the responsibility for ensuring that Title VI is effectively, efficiently, and consistently enforced. 

Department of Justice Civil Rights Division - Office of Special Counsel: Has responsibilities to enforce the anti-discrimination provisions of the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, as amended. 

Kentucky Supported Employment Training Project:  Promote the implementation and expansion of state-of-the art, supported employment services for Kentucky citizens with disabilities.

This effort will be accomplished through statewide training, technical assistance, and collaborative efforts.

Kentucky's Office of the American's with Disabilities Act Coordinator:  The purpose of this site is to inform people with disabilities of their rights and available programs.

OFCCP Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs:  The Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) enforces the Executive Order 11246, as amended; Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended and the affirmative action provisions (Section 4212) of the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act, as amended. Taken together, these laws ban discrimination and require Federal contractors and subcontractors to take affirmative action to ensure that all individuals have an equal opportunity for employment, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or status as a Vietnam era or special disabled veteran.

Opportunity for Work and Learning (OWL):  Provides a work-oriented rehabilitation program and related services to individuals who have barriers to employment so they can have the opportunity to develop the skills and basic work habits to reach their vocational goals.
