The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission will host the Tenth
Annual Fair Housing Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12
at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Lexington. Preceding the luncheon, the Commission
will hold a workshop from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The workshop “Affordable Home
Ownership in Lexington: Strategies for the Future” will examine the state of
local affordable home ownership and ways we can preserve and promote
affordability.
The luncheon “The Journey to Home
Ownership” will feature a Lexington woman’s experience becoming a home owner
through a local housing program. In addition, the luncheon will include a
presentation to the Harrison Elementary School Fair Housing Coloring Contest
finalists.
Tickets for the luncheon
are $40 per person or $400 for a table of ten.
The workshop is no cost but reservations are required. Reservations for
