    The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission released an informational brochure to assist homebuyers in understanding homeowners insurance today.  The brochure is a joint effort between the LFUC Human Rights Commission and  Indiana Insurance company as part of the Commission’s goal to bolster community awareness of home buying processes, resources and impediments.

    The brochure, “Understanding Homeowners Insurance,” explains homeowners policies and gives tips on how to save money when shopping for a homeowners policy.  Also defined are types of property coverage and exclusions and additional coverage.
