The HRC hosted its Ninth Annual Fair Housing Luncheon on Tuesday, April 1, 2003. 25 Co-Sponsors helped make the luncheon a success. Approximately 250 people attended this year's luncheon, making this the largest attended Fair Housing Luncheon the HRC has hosted. This year's guest speaker was Cory Booker, a former Newark City Councilman and community activist who is dedicated to breaking barriers and creating change. A small reception was held for Mr. Booker at DeSha's on Monday, March 31, 2003. Click here to view photograph from the reception.
