Picnic with the Police

The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission is proud to announce it will once again host the Picnic with the Police, an opportunity for the community and the police to come together for fun and fellowship.  This year’s Picnic will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Douglass Park. The Picnic is free and open to the public.

We are asking businesses to become an event sponsor for this picnic.  The following pages provide the information you need to support our event. Every contribution is appreciated, and we thank you in advance for your support. Please note that the Human Rights Commission is a government entity, not a 501 (c)(3) organization. ALL money raised in sponsorship fees will go into the picnic. Over $10,000 was raised for the 2017 event. More than 1,000 people attended and enjoyed food, drinks, face painting, balloon animals, and a live radio DJ – all free and open to the public!

Should you have any questions about sponsorship, please call Tami Reed at (859) 252-4931 or send her an email at treed@lfuchrc.org. Thanks again for your support of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission.

*If you would like to contribute by donating goods or services, please contact Tami Reed at (859) 252-4931.
